PROnetplan V2 enables pre-planning of converging industrial networks based on Industrial Ethernet and PROFINET. PROnetplan V2 focuses especially on bandwidth planning. In this way, it can be ensured from the network planning stage that all applications used in the network can communicate smoothly.

- Data throughput, backplane capacity and required number of ports for the switches used
- Bandwidth and network load for each connection
- Update times for the cyclic devices (for example with PROFINET)
