PROmesh P10X enables innovative online cable diagnostics of your systems and machines even within the IP67 range, so that the physical wear of the network cables can be continuously visualized. This is achieved through a complex evaluation system that compares the current value of connected data cables with a fixed value corresponding to the cable length. The measured quality value (“Q value”) is clearly indicated for each port.
Unlike other cable testers, the PROmesh P10X performs cable diagnostics continuously and during ongoing system operation. It is the innovative online cable diagnostics in combination with a powerful industrial IP67 switch that makes this possible. Thanks to the ongoing monitoring, critical cable conditions can be detected automatically and remedied by the maintenance department – before system operation is affected!
Monitoring capabilities with event notifications – early detection makes maintenance easier

FOR PERFORMANCE MONITORING
Since the data traffic volume in an industrial network varies over time, it is desirable to monitor the network load at critical data nodes (that is, switches). If the data traffic exceeds the switch's capacity, data losses ("discards") or communication disturbances occur.
These types of sporadic spikes in network load often occur due to acyclic data requests or TCP/IP applications. To make short-term overloads visible, PROmesh P10X provides network load statistics. The statistics show all network loads per port and the number of discards that have occurred, down to the second level, making it possible to detect and remove bottlenecks that affect performance.
EMC MONITORING - does the equipotential bonding work?
Are communication errors or interruptions occurring? Despite proper shielding, EMC coupling between data cables can occur again and again in practice. To make it easier to detect such sources of EMC interference, the PROmesh P10X has permanent monitoring of leakage currents.
As part of the integrated leakage current monitoring, the PROmesh P10X records the frequency and intensity of any EMC disturbances along with the exact time. By registering and saving the precise time of the event, the search for the source of the disturbance is simplified. A snapshot can be easily viewed via the integrated web interface.
An automatic alarm notification is sent if any value exceeds the freely adjustable limit value.
VOLTAGE MONITORING (24 V) – is there over or under voltage?
Turning components and loads on or off can cause voltage fluctuations in the system. Such over or under voltage can damage or cause failure of switches and other components.
For switches, which are the central communication nodes, such failures are particularly serious because system communication can be significantly affected. Therefore, the PROmesh P10X has integrated monitoring of the power supply (24 V) which can be integrated into the central network monitoring as an additional stability parameter.
TEMPERATURE MONITORING – safety despite extreme conditions
The extended temperature range (-40 to +75 °C) means that PROmesh P10X can be used even in extreme environments. The integrated monitoring of the device temperature provides extra safety during use.
In addition, the temperature-dependent wear of the switch can be monitored and reduced. Via the integrated web interface, the tolerance range for temperature warnings can be adjusted.
Overview of all relevant condition values – better plant availability without extra inspections
Modern facilities and machines are network-based. The state of your network provides large amounts of information about the system's available resources. By following the status of the network, you can secure or even increase the availability of the facility. Use PROmesh P10X to visualize the state of your network or sub-network at any time.

Metrics and state values are only helpful if they are easy to use. Therefore, PROmesh P10X has an integrated web interface where monitoring and diagnostic data is recorded and saved. They can then be easily produced and evaluated on site or remotely.
EVENT ALARMS WITH PUSH NOTIFICATIONS – which can be customized individually
The alarm manager in PROmesh P10X documents all events and deviations down to the millisecond level, regardless of whether the value is preset according to Indu-Sol's recommendations or individually adapted. Discover and remove potential sources of interference proactively, with automatic notifications triggered by events according to selected configuration.

More bandwidth for heterogeneous/converged networks – but how?
As the data traffic volume is higher in heterogeneous or converged networks, more bandwidth is required. In principle, there are two ways to increase the usable bandwidth in an industrial environment:
- Increase the actual bandwidth (gigabitcommunication) – by increasing the data rate to 1 Gbps or more
