Measurement of PROFIBUS Cables in a Reliable way
The PROFtest II XL cable tester checks correct cable installation in PROFIBUS networks. The measuring tool indicates the actual line length and detects cable breaks precisely to the meter. The cable test is performed during offline operation and supports installers and maintenance personnel during commissioning and service. Errors detected, breaks in conductors A,B. Short circuit A,B. Screen interruption, cable length, cable impedance and termination function.
The cable test with PROFtest II XL is performed in several steps at both ends of each line segment. All results can be saved in the tool. A report can be printed via a computer.
PROFtest II XL includes:

Data from the connected I/O device (DP slave) can be displayed and adjusted without using a PLC. - "Online Mode" feature upgrade
