Quick and Easy ASi System Analysis
ASi View is a mobile diagnostic device for your ASi network. It can be easily "clipped" to the line and provides the current bus status with just one click. With ASi View, you can analyze both physical parameters and logical telegram traffic under ongoing production conditions.

Bus status with one click
One mouse click gives you an overview of the actual communication quality. All measured values are displayed as bar graphs for each station. The bus status of the logical and physical quality parameters is displayed in an intuitive way using color codes reminiscent of a traffic light.
Contact with a ”notch”
ASi View can be easily connected to the ASi bus with the supplied M12 adapter cable and the ASi measurement adapter (ASiMA). The adapter required for this is simply attached to the ASi cable. The area immediately adjacent to the mast and the respective ends of the individual ASi segments is recommended as a measurement location.
Physical evaluation
The measured value (height of the bar) should not fall below the preset quality limit of 100%. Each bar is an image of the bit form given by the time response and level of the transmitted signal per station.
In-depth analysis
For in-depth analysis there is an integrated oscilloscope with which EMC disturbances, waveform problems and reflections can be detected for each participant. Additionally, an "eye diagram" can be used to further show the bit shape. Based on the "eye opening", information is given about the noise behavior of the ASi signal.
Logical evaluation
The analysis of the telegram traffic provides information on the number and type of participant-specific telegram errors. It is confidential if the call or response failed. In addition, the pause times between master calls and slave responses are determined per station. The pause time of 50 μs (limit: 60 μs) should not be exceeded.
